Cops said the gruesome discovery was made last Wednesday in the Czech town of Kynšperk nad Ohří, about 20 kilometers from the German border.
The 35-year-old’s relative allegedly found a tiny arm and hand covered in blood in a plastic bag in the back garden.
Police launched a grisly hunt for further body parts across the neighbourhood bins but the rest of the baby’s body has not been found.
Police now allege that the corpse may have been fed to dogs, according to local paper Krimi-Plzen .
On Thursday, the child’s mother was charged with murder and arrested.
She had been living with her partner in his parent’s house where the child’s limbs were reportedly discovered.
“The 35-year-old woman is accused of a particularly serious murder“, said police.
If found guilty, she faces 15 to 20 years in prison, or a lifetime sentence.

Neighbours reported that the woman had been heavily pregnant when her bump – and baby – suddenly disappeared.
Cops are working on the theory that she secretly gave birth to the child and murdered it.
Police used sniffer dogs to search for further body parts across the bins in the area.
The alleged horror killing has rocked the town’s 5,000 inhabitants.
On Monday, neighbours placed flowers and candles on the road near where the child’s remains are said to have been found.
