A MUM’S £5.5k facelift has gone viral after the surgery left her unable to function on her own due to extreme swelling and bruising.
Garrett Howley shared a video of his 58-year-old mum following her surgery, at a cost of around £5.5k.
A video showed her after surgery going on a walk through the hospital with her son and nurse as she couldn’t go solo.
But people have expressed concern over her appearance, with some asking if she can “see out of her eyes.”;
However, in another video, she reassured viewers, saying, “I can see out of my eyes.”;
Garrett’s mum underwent a deep plane face and neck lift, upper and lower eyelid surgery, a lip lift, and a temporal lift.
She had the cosmetic procedures done on her 58th birthday, and in the video, Garrett revealed that when she woke up after six hours of surgery, she “looked a little worse for wear.”;
One of his videos has received 2.8 million views within three days of being posted.
The videos have drawn comments from people concerned about her appearance, with some wondering if she is “still alive.”;
Others were curious about what is more painful: “childbirth or a facelift?”;
The mum of two, who had natural births for both of her children, admitted that childbirth is still more painful.
She explained that she wasn’t actually in much pain following the cosmetic surgery, but that the
Garrett’s mum revealed that she got a lip lift after being a “heavy smoker”; all her life as she admits: “I now have lips.”;
The price she paid included her five nights stay at her hospital, as well as the back and forth to the hospital and hotel.
The price also includes an two interpreters that were with them the whole time they were there due to the doctors not being English speaking.
Another person asked if she could see out of her eyes, to which she replied that she could.
Someone else joked: “So basically get a and don’t give birth,”; to which Garrett replied: “Pretty much.”;
