A STAY-AT-HOME mum has taken to social media to get strangers to fund her lifestyle.
Katlyn is a mum-of-two and wife to a trucker who travels around the US to provide for his family.

But the savvy mum decided to create a secret account so that strangers can help pay off his truck and take him to Disneyland.
Speaking on her account, Broke Mums Club, she revealed that her husband had never been on holiday, but was paying for Katlyn and the kids to go on a trip of a lifetime.
She said: “I want to give my husband a week to be a dad and not just a provider.
“As many of you know, we’re going to in March and he was sending me and the kids because the kids are ecstatic about Disney.
“But he doesn’t think that he’s able to pull off taking a week off, missing out on coming in, and enjoying a week of just pure vacation. So we’re gonna do what TikTok does best.”
She asked her 123,000 followers to watch the full video and like, comment and share so that she could earn from the TikTok creator fund.
In just nine days, the mum had raised over £1620, half of what she needed to pay for her husband’s Disney ticket and spending money.
Creators on TikTok can make money through TikTok’s creator fund.
TikTok bosses say: “The funds that each creator can earn are worked out by a combination of factors - including the number of views and the authenticity of those views, the level of engagement on the content, as well as making sure content is in line with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
No two creators or videos are the same, and there is no limit to the different kinds of content we will support with the fund.
“The Creator Fund total varies daily and is dependent on the amount of videos published by our community that day - so this will fluctuate based on the amount of content being published.”
Katlyn also revealed that the day before she began asking for funds to take her husband on holiday, her followers also helped pay off his work van.
“My goal is to pay off his pickup truck so he could come home a few extra days a month to spend time with his family,” she explained.
“This is a reality for most of us stay-at-home mums because living in a one-income household isn’t enough.”
She was able to raise £4,500 to pay off her husband’s van and finally shared her secret savings with him.
Katlyn said: “Yesterday we revealed to my husband that we made over six thousand dollars for him for his pickup truck.
“He said that that was the best birthday present that he’s ever gotten and, frankly, he’s still in shock.”
The clip has since gone viral with over 3.7 million views on TikTok and many were quick to comment and help get the mum paid.
One person wrote: “Here to support. I feel your situation. I love seeing these kind of videos.”
Another commented: “This is reality and for families to be able to afford to live and raise children.”
“I hope you get the money you need,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “I hope you get to pay off the pickup truck, every kid needs their dad!!”
“Commenting so she gets to see him more,” claimed a fifth
Someone else added: “I hope you get your money because no one deserves to not have time with your husband.”
