After several years of not having a place she could call her home, Chloe was recently given a new ‘‘ where she now lives with her two kids.

According to the mum-of-two, while the home ”is a ”, she has to cover the , gas, electric, and water bill.

The stunning property comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a gorgeous garden and a living room separate from the dining room.

The two double-bedrooms, she proudly showed off in a video , ”are huge”.

”For a first house, it’s unbelievable,” said Chloe who posts under the username @ chlorhys .

”Honestly, I am so, so grateful,” said the mum who said the kids will be sharing the once her baby son becomes a little older.

As well as having extra storage space and a dining room which she plans to use as a toy room for her daughter, Chloe’s new house has a stunning bathroom with white tiles.

However, it’s not the size of the property or the brand new features trolls are amazed she got ”for free” – most of the rooms in the house are also carpeted.

”Yeah, I do pay towards the rent, I do pay everything else. I’ve not just been given a council property that’s fully carpeted, it’s got flooring done.

”I’ve heard a few people say, ‘Oh, my council house was nothing like this’. Like I said, it isn’t a council house – they are charging money for this property.

I gave my son’s council house bedroom an American-style makeover for under £70 - a £16 B&Q buy made a huge difference

”It’s not like a council house where you pay £98 a week,” Chloe said in a follow-up video addressing the costs and hitting back at the trolls.

According to Chloe, she also applied for a new scheme which aims to get people out of mother and baby units, and the new property home might not be her forever home.

”You’re still able to make a bid on Manchester Move to get your council property – but you are able to go into a private rented property up until you get your council house.

”So that’s basically what I have gone into. It’s sort of like but you can choose to stay here. So if I wanted to stay here, I could stay here.”

As technically Chloe doesn’t yet own the house, she’s also not legally allowed ”to make any drastic changes”.

How can I get a council house?

But while some people thought Chloe had bagged ”a carpeted house for free”, the majority of the 774k viewers were happy for the family, as they rushed to congratulate the mum-of-two on the news.

One person was baffled and said: ”I can’t believe people are mad that a MUM has a place for her BABIES. If you never clap for others, it’ll never be your turn.”

Another chimed in: ”Me and my partner both work and we live in a council house, don’t understand how people are so cruel to people who receive help.”

A third agreed, writing: ”These comments are vile! Just because she lives in a council house doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a job and can’t afford her children.

”My mum and dad have worked all their life and lived in their council house 26 years. Congratulations to you and your children.”

”wow love the house its beautiful I live in a council house and i am so grateful that I have something to call home, only people who struggled will know what it means to have an house or flat,” a fourth added.
