A MASSIVE fire has erupted at a Morrisons petrol station with thick plumes of smoke seen billowing over the city.
Fire crews and other emergency services scrambled to the scene in York Road, Doncaster.
People are being advised to avoid the area as the blaze continues to rage in South Yorkshire .
Black smoke was seen filling the sky as shocked bystanders watched on.
Motorists were seen warily hanging back as plumes of smoke billowed upwards.
Photos and videos from the scene show police sealing off the road leading to the petrol station.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and South Yorkshire Police have been contacted for comment.
