Wearing nothing but a swimsuit, she quickly captures the attention of thousands watching online.
The 18-year-old shows off her aggressive, hip-hop dance moves without any concern for what people think.
Her fellow contestants can do nothing but watch on as she dominates the stage.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for Yoothong to take home first prize.
She finished inside the top 20, but her performance instantly became one of the most recognisable moments from this year’s competition.
A clip of Yoothong’s routine went viral on social media with one user commenting: “God forbid a girl does what she likes.”
Another wrote: “She genuinely looks fun to be with – she is the party.”
Yoothong competed as Miss Grand Kalasin, representing one of 77 provinces in the national pageant.
With choreographed gestures and exaggerated expressions, her dance has since been labelled the “Kalasin Strut”.
The overall winner, Pattama Jitsawat, will go on to represent Thailand at the Miss Grand International competition in later this year.

During a live-stream, Nawat confronted Bosch and asked her to “explain herself” in front of the cameras.
When Bosch pushed back, he told her: “I didn’t give you the opportunity to talk.”
“I have a voice,” Bosch replied, accusing him of “not respecting me as a woman.”
The highly-publicised walkout has reignited criticism of the Organisation over transparency and contestant treatment.
