A MODEL has revealed she’s far more successful as a curvy 58-year-old than she was at 18.
Elaina St James has hit the jackpot as a mature model, but she reckons she could never reach such heights when she was younger.
The American stunner revealed that she has always been approached because of her looks, but something was always off.
She remembered: “I remember my mum even saying like … ‘you like dressing up you like modelling’.
She revealed part of the reason she only reached success later in life is because of her size.
Despite being two stone less than she currently is as a teen, Elaina said she was too heavy to model in the 80s.
“I was too old, too fat for them,” she explained. on Holly Randall’s Unfiltered podcast.
“Because obviously I’m tall, I’m 5ft 10, but that’s what I was told by modelling agencies back in the mid 80s: ‘too old too fat’.”
But Elaina has now proved all the naysayers wrong and has achieved huge success on adult platforms thanks to her curves and good looks.
“The joke’s on them,” she continued, “I make more money now with this older heavier body than I ever would have dreamed of back in 1985.”
After years away from the cameras, Elaina finally jumpstarted her modelling career back in 2021.
This came after hearing about other women in their forties and fifties raking in the big bucks on adult sites.
Although she thought it was all too good to be true at first, eventually she decided to give it a go.
At first, coy Elaina hid her face in the racy pictures, but soon got comfortable enough express herself and the subscribers, and cash, soon followed.
Just a month later and she had a whopping 10,00 followers on Instagram .
The cash from her modelling side hustle meant she could eventually leave her drab office role too.
At her old gig, the single mum was making just £23,000 but has since seen her bank balance soar.
In fact, she made an eye-watering $10,000 after the end of her first month on the adult platform OnlyFans – a third of her annual wage at her office job.
Since then her earnings have continued to go up and up, she noted.

As of 2023, it is thought to have more than 220million registered users and over three million content creators.

Celebs like Katie Price and Kerry Katona are popular personalities on the platform.
“Whether you’re uploading tutorials, tips, behind-the-scenes footage or just endless selfies, a lot of your followers would be willing to pay for them,” the company states.
For every subscription that’s sold to a viewer, performers get 80 per cent of the cash while OnlyFans gets the rest.
It isn’t limited to adult content, as it has become popular with physical fitness experts and musicians.
