The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural organization, has suspended its state chairpersons in Taraba, Bauchi, and Adamawa due to alleged poor performance and neglect of member welfare.

The National Public Relations Officer of the association, Malam Mohammed Suleiman, announced the suspension on Thursday during a press briefing in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

The individuals affected include Bammi Bello Jane from Taraba State, Muhammed Hussaini Buzaye from Bauchi State, and Usman Abubakar Yirlabe from Adamawa State.

According to Suleiman, the decision was made following multiple petitions from members in the affected states who accused the suspended officials of incompetence, inadequate representation, and failure to address issues impacting herders.

He stated that an investigation conducted by the national leadership, led by Alhaji Abdullahi Bodejo, confirmed the allegations, which led to the immediate suspension of the three chairpersons.

“After careful examination and consideration of numerous complaints from Fulani pastoralists, the National President has suspended the following state chairpersons: Bammi Bello Jane of Taraba, Muhammed Hussaini Buzaye of Bauchi, and Usman Abubakar Yirlabe of Adamawa, effective immediately,” Suleiman remarked.

Suleiman also instructed all security agencies and relevant stakeholders to refrain from engaging with the suspended officials, cautioning that they no longer possess the authority to represent the association in any capacity.

“Any attempt by the suspended chairpersons to present themselves as leaders of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Socio-cultural Association will result in legal action,” he warned.
