A YOUNG woman has gone viral after a visit to the nail salon.
We all know getting a manicure can be pricey, but Caitlyn Giannini said she had a valid reason.

Caitlyn, from , was born with one hand, so it makes sense to only pay half price for the manicure.
Taking to social media, she shared that she recently went to a new nail salon which wanted to charge her full price for the treatment.
She said: “I just went to get my done and they tried to charge me full price.
“Obviously, I only have five fingers.”
When she got up to pay, she was charged the full price and Caitlyn then asked if she could pay half the amount.
“The woman looks at me and kind of looks a little bit confused,” she continued. “And I was like, ‘You know, cuz I only have one hand, you only did one set of nails.
“‘So could we do half price or even like 60% whatever.'”
According to Caitlyn, another employee came over who said they could only offer her the discount if she made it her regular salon.
While Caitlyn agreed to the deal at the time and got her discount, she was now having second thoughts about going back
“I honestly respect the hustle,” she said. “But at the same time, that’s kind of just so weird to say you only have five fingers, but we’re only gonna give you half off if you promise you’ll come back.”
The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @ caitlyngiannini with over 4 million views and 353k likes.
People were quick to share their thoughts, with many agreeing they should have charged half price anyway.
One person wrote: “Took the 5 finger discount to a whole new level.”
Another commented: “Half price is fair and anyone expecting otherwise is absurd.”
“I completely agree, but would definitely check before getting your nails done,” penned a third.
