DARTS sensation Mitchell Lawrie slammed the tactics of an opponent during a clash at the WDF World Championship.
Lawrie, 15, stormed into the semi-finals with a 4-0 win over Francois Schweyen.

However, the Scottish schoolboy – who is hoping to eclipse as the youngest ever world champion – admitted the rhythm of his opponent impacted his game.
In his post-match interview he said: “Do you know what? I wasn’t even frustrated.
“I think I let his pace get to me, and then as soon as I stopped letting his pace get to me, it was easy to be honest. He tried to slow me down.”
Lawrie conjectured that the reason behind his Belgian rival’s tactic could have been down to the age difference between himself and the 36-year-old.
“I think it’s because he thinks I’m not as experienced as him and maybe because I’m only 15.
“But I get people everywhere that try and do that to me. It doesn’t affect me at all.”
Regardless, the Scot delivered another statement win as he opened the match with a 111 checkout.
Lawrie then took the second set 3-0 as he shifted up a gear with a stunning 124 checkout to take the third set before rounding out on a checkout of 92 en route to booking his semi-final spot.
Asked whether the tactic backfired, Lawrie added: “110%. He put himself off more than what he put me off, to be honest.
“If he started going faster, I would have been fine, because I’m fine with both to be honest.
“He’s a great guy off the board. He just said good luck for the rest of the competition and stuff. He is a really nice guy off the board.”
Lawrie, who will become the youngest semi-finalist in Lakeside history, will now play fellow teen Jenson Walker.
He said: “I know it’ll be a great game because we’re both big power scorers.
“Jensen is really one of the best players in this building. I believe he will get a Tour Card when he’s older and he will go on to do more stuff.”
The final will take place on Sunday, with the winner pocketing £50,000.
