THIS is the moment a 102-year-old millionaire is bundled out of hospital by his children after secretly marrying his much younger carer.

The tycoon was “rescued” by his adult kids after they found out he’d transferred millions in assets to his new wife, 68, triggering a bitter family war.

The centenarian, Wang, was leaving a hospital appointment in Zhongshan District, Taipei, , in a wheelchair pushed by his new wife, Lai.

Waiting at the entrance were three of his sons, three daughters-in-law and four grandchildren.

As the couple emerged, the relatives surged forward, pushed Lai aside and seized control of the wheelchair, attempting to wheel Wang to safety.

CCTV from February 3 captured a chaotic struggle as Lai shouts for police assistance and chases the kids down the street.

She was reportedly injured during the altercation.

Police arrived on scene and Wang’s family told officers the elderly man was their father and father-in-law, and he was ultimately taken away with them.

The explosive hospital clash came weeks after Wang quietly registered his marriage to Lai on January 5.

His children say they only found out about the wedding when they tried to visit him a few days later and were refused access.

Relatives claim the caregiver isolated Wang from the outside world and prevented family contact.

They further allege that she took advantage of his deteriorating mental condition to secure her financial future.

According to reports, Wang transferred seven plots of land and a £1.9million insurance policy to Lai and her children, amounting to around £4.7million.

His total assets are estimated at between £16million and £18.7million.

Wang, a former land scrivener, is reported to own multiple properties and parcels of land in Taipei.

Lai denies wrongdoing. She has filed complaints for coercion and public insult and has applied for a protection order against the family.

Household registration authorities said that when the marriage was processed, Wang was able to answer questions and met the formal legal requirements.

Under Taiwanese law, individuals with legal capacity may marry regardless of age.

The validity of the marriage and the asset transfers will now be decided in court, as the dispute between the caregiver and the tycoon’s family moves into legal proceedings.
