NEW government plans will see asylum seekers moved into £250,000 newbuild homes instead of hotels.
Twenty-one smart newbuild houses have been earmarked for 83 migrants, and residents are fuming at the idea of their new neighbours.
Outraged villagers claim they have been lied to over plans to move the on “Migrant Street” — and have vowed to fight the scheme.
The Government insists the move is part of a wider strategy to cut costs and reduce hotel use by 2029, instead relocating people into “properties and ex-military sites”.
