A MIGRANT received sex change treatment on the NHS worth tens of thousands of pounds — while applying to remain in the UK.
The Filipino entered Britain as a man several years ago but underwent the health service-backed gender reassignment procedure to become a woman last year.

After the trans surgery, the migrant’s pronouns were changed from “Mr” to “Miss” in official papers.
The patient boasted of getting the op in a celebratory online message with a pic — using a new name, a feminine version of the old one.
Reform MP said: “It’s a slap in the face to millions of Brits on wasting lists.”
The Filipino got free consultations and care at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where 40 per cent of patients miss the 18-week treatment target.
But the migrant was sent in an NHS partnership to private Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon for the op.
Dr Renee Hoenderkamp, a , said: “This shouldn’t be happening on the NHS.
“I have patients waiting for hip replacements, knee surgery — procedures they need to work and to get on with their lives.”
Adults diagnosed with can get surgery on the NHS if they have lived as their preferred gender for at least a year.
