Eleven of the thugs have been arrested and charged with hooliganism.

Many now also face deportation due to them being migrant construction workers, according to Russian authorities.

Police are still investigating what sparked the chaos in the Russian capital.

The mass brawl kicked off at around 12pm at the Prokshino residential complex in Moscow, according to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow.

Panicked residents of the apartment complex say they witnessed up to 15 hooded men gathering around the area hours before they started their assault in the city.

The crowd was filmed suddenly rushing through a busy street surrounding the housing complex.

Many of them were dressed all in black with either a hat or their hood covering them up.

They were wielding huge shovels and thick iron bars as they rushed past both moving and parked cars.

Some can be seen jumping over locked gates into the flats’ garden as others unleash fury in the car park as they hammer on several windscreens.

At one point, several of the men launch their weapons across the street as they chase down multiple people.

It remains unclear who they were attacking.

A man in a white jumper was seen being repeatedly hit by the group as he was floored before being pulled away.

Flying metal poles were lobbed at him as he retreated.

Onlookers said the men were screaming in an “unintelligible language“.

All while the out-of-control mob rushed the streets, the people of Moscow appeared to carry on with their daily lives as normal.

Cars continued to drive past with locals on motorbikes veering as close to the action as possible to have a look at the ruckus.

Migration in Russia

IT remains unclear what the recent Moscow riots were about but Russia is facing growing civil unrest from migrant groups across the country.

Russia’s economy is heavily dependent on migrant labor with there being around 3.3 million migrant workers from Central Asia living in the nation.

Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has made life tougher for these migrants now.

Many of the men are reportedly expected to join up for the military and fight across the border.

Central Asian migrants in particular have been increasingly targeted for military recruitment.

These include people from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.

Some have even claimed they are given horror ultimatums on the street by Russian authorities.

Rakhat Sagynbek, a migration expert at support group Insan-Leilek, claims: “[Police tell migrants:] ‘You’ve been working here for so many years, shame on you, now protect us, give back to the country that has fed you for so long!.

“They give them the ultimate choice of between being deported or serving [in the military].”

More than 3,000 Central Asian migrants are now serving in Russia’s military, according to Ukraine’s Defense Ministry and Hochu Zhit .

This makes them the second largest number of foreign troops on the battlefield behind North Koreans.

Police soon arrived to the scene as the crowd quickly dispersed.

Several cars were damaged with five people left injured.

Eleven people were captured and detained with police launching a search for the rest of the culprits.

It comes just months after another at French riot cops.

Shocking clashes between migrants and police broke out in Gravelines and were caught on camera.
