TWO men have been charged after a body was discovered in a suitcase near a teddy bear hunt.

Police were called to a property in Wimbledon, London, on Thursday following reports of an .

After finding no one at the address, the force launched a probe and have charged Joshua Miller, 32, with murder and Jamie Cooper, 27, with preventing a lawful burial.

Met officers arrived at the home on Kingfisher Court at around 10.55pm on July 9.

No one was found at the scene and believing that someone had been harmed, the force launched an .

Cops visited a recreation area in Rochester, Kent, later on Friday where they discovered a body in a suitcase close to where a children’s teddy bear hunt had been taking place.

Two people turned themselves in on the same day and were arrested on suspicion of murder.

A third man was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has since been released on bail.

The police have charged Miller, of Kingfisher Court, Wandsworth, with murder and preventing a lawful burial.

Cooper, of the same address, has been charged with preventing a lawful burial.

The two are due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

A formal identification of the body has not taken place, however the force said it believes it knows who it is and has informed his of kin.

It added that the victim and the two men charged were known to each other.
