A CLIP from The Masked Singer – which was edited out of the ITV episode broadcast on Saturday – has accidentally aired online.

Fans of the family-friendly series were stunned as just hours before the hit reality show was broadcast.

Now a user on X has told how, while show bosses edited ‘s Saturday episode, they failed to tweak the version initially aired on catch-up.

The user posted: “So Red Panda did still preform am watching on catch up and he’s on first with burn baby burn.

“So he did get taken off the live one but catch up they haven’t edited it.”

At the time, an ITV spokesperson said: “In light of the tragic events in Switzerland, we took the decision to remove Red Panda’s performance on in tonight’s programme owing to potential insensitivities within the theme and lyrics of the song.

“Viewers will get to see Red Panda perform in the coming weeks.”

The Sun then revealed that the song performed was Disco Inferno.

Red Panda and the celebrity inside the costume will appear on the rest of the series and will take to the stage in coming episodes.

“It is recalled that the presumption of innocence applies until a final conviction has been handed down.”
