Fans of The Masked Singer believe they have identified the adorable character Toastie as a well-known singer with an “unmistakable voice.”

Viewers of the reality show, which aired on Saturday, think they’ve figured out the breakfast snack's true identity following their performance of the hit song, Run To You.

The flawless performance, featuring the song from the 1992 film The Bodyguard, left the judges speechless, with one panelist praising their “lovely voice.”

Another judge described their vocals as “beautiful.”

However, this impressive performance, along with a clue from Toastie’s introductory video, has led fans to speculate that the face behind the mask is actually Mica Paris.

They believe the 56-year-old hitmaker is disguising herself as the breakfast item, which is adorned with a red wool hat.

In the preview clip, images of comedian Peter Kay and BBC Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox, both from Bolton, appeared on-screen.

Fans interpreted the Bolton reference as a hint toward the queen of soul’s duet with musical theater star Michael Bolton.

The duo collaborated on the 2009 charity single, We Will Remember Them, to support military families.

The My One Temptation singer’s remarkable vocal talent has also led viewers to suspect she’s the real Toastie.

Social media was flooded with comments from fans, with one user on X stating, “I’m starting to think about Mica Paris for Toastie.”

Another commented, “Mica Paris is Toastie – she sang a song with Michael Bolton!”

On another platform, fans shared similar sentiments.

One user added alongside a video of the performance: “That’s definitely Mica Paris.”

Another joked, “This is absolutely Mica Paris. I’d bet my kids on it.”
