The massive deal, , is just the latest step in the incredible rise of the content creator.

Goldbridge, real name Brent Di Cesare, originally hails from Nottingham, and worked for West Midlands police as an anti-fraud detective.

He founded a channel called Soccer Box TV in 2014, focusing on producing Premier League content.

That channel evolved to focus on United specifically in the form of The United Stand, though the sensitive nature of his job as a detective forced Di Cesare to pick out a different name for his YouTube aspirations.

He settled on Mark Goldbridge, which he insists there is no particular reason for that name and he simply came up with it on the spot.

He began to build a following making watch-along content on the channel as he kept tabs on his beloved side.

His frequent energetic and entertaining outbursts – particularly when United were not doing well – quickly built him a following across social media, and YouTube in particular.

His successes saw him branch out his content beyond watch-alongs and into other areas, including a successful gaming series where he brought his famous meltdowns to EA football game Fifa.

He built up enough of a following to launch a number of spin-off YouTube channels, where he and his collaborators expanded beyond United content alone.

‘That’s Football‘ sees Goldbridge and Co watch and discuss non-United matches, particularly in the Premier League and .

Meanwhile his ‘United Stand XTRA’ and ‘Mark Goldbridge’ channels provide further coverage of his streaming and ‘In Real Life‘ content.

That massive agreement significantly boosted his already impressive net worth.

Just 12 years after starting his first YouTube channel, the Mail revealed in April that the 47-year-old had assets worth a total of £7.5m.

It was clearly a special moment for the lifelong fan, who wrote on X: “Rooney to The United Stand Here We Go!

“Massive thanks to the community who have been with us all the way. Couldn’t have done it without you.”

The new show will be available to Disney+ subscribers and also be uploaded to YouTube for free.

It will debut on August 18th, with fireworks promised as two big personalities meet on the small screen.
