MARGOT Robbie has turned down the chance to play Kylie Minogue in a film of her life.
The star was the I Should Be So Lucky singer’s top choice to portray her in a biopic, but said she wouldn’t be able to do her justice because she has such a bad voice.

Reacting to the news that she was Kylie’s top choice, said: “That is wild information.
“I am beyond honoured. Of course I could not do it. I can’t sing like .
“I don’t like it when people can’t actually sing and do a singing movie, you know?”
Asked in 2023 who she would like to play her in a hypothetical , Kylie mused: “ — in my dreams. She’d have the Australian accent down, that’s for sure.”
Margot, 35, who wore a thigh-flashing black and white dress to the premiere of her new drama A Big Bold Beautiful Journey on Monday night, went on to reveal she once had a boozy afternoon with the chart topper, 57.
Speaking on the Radio 2 breakfast show yesterday, she recalled: “I got a call from my team like, ‘Kylie Minogue would like to meet up with you,’ and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is the best day of my life’.
“I assumed she wanted to meet to talk about some sort of work thing or maybe she was putting together a event or something.
“So I get to the Chateau Marmont, a place in LA, and she sat down, the coolest, warmest, most divine creature you’ve ever met.
“She was just like, ‘I just thought, you’re an Aussie, I’m an Aussie, and we’ve never met. I thought we should probably hang out and get cocktails’.
“There was no work conversation whatsoever, we just got drunk together.”
Despite not being a good singer, Margot also revealed she hasn’t watched her latest film, as she ditched the premiere after walking the , to instead do karaoke in Soho.
She confessed: “I attended, but didn’t watch. I met up with my friends afterwards, which was lovely. They came out.
“We ended up doing karaoke until one in the morning in Chinatown. I was belting out Celine until the wee hours. I did full Titanic. You can’t do karaoke and not do Celine.”
