PETER Mandelson could be forced to return the five-figure pay-off he received after he was sacked as ambassador to the US.
After more details about the disgraced Labour peer’s relationship with emerged, the Foreign Office is investigating whether he of potentially £55,000.

Priti Patel, Shadow Foreign Secretary, has also called for the money to be returned and branded the payment a “betrayal” to the victims.
She posted on X: “This five figure taxpayer funded payout for Mandelson is a disgusting betrayal of Epstein’s victims. It raises very serious questions about the Prime Minister’s judgement and the Government must ensure Mandelson’s golden goodbye is recovered in full.”
