RADEK VITEK is after the Manchester United No 1 shirt — with help from Chelsea legend Petr Cech.
The Czech, 21, is on loan at Bristol City to toughen up for the Prem.


And the 6ft 6in Red Devils ace has revealed childhood hero and Chelsea icon Cech , 43, is helping him rise to the challenge.
Vitek showed the tips from the ex- Arsenal stopper are working with a stellar show to earn a point in Saturday’s 0-0 with Charlton.
He said: “My hero growing up was definitely Petr Cech as he was the best Czech keeper and probably one of the best in the world.
“I looked up to him ever since I ended up in goal for my village team when I was five or six years old as I was so tall.
“I have been lucky to have met Petr a few times since, as we have the same agents and he’s been great with me.
“We had a few conversations which I’m glad about, he’s given me a few tips.
“He’s even showed me videos of what to look out for and that shows he’s an amazing person.”
Vitek, who has been loaned to Accrington Stanley and Linz in Austria, showed his potential with a terrific save to push team-mate George Tanner’s miscue on to a post.
The ace also opened up on his plans to one day become first choice at parent club United.
He added: “My plan is to one day establish myself as the No 1 at Manchester United.
“I don’t know how long it will take or if I’ll do it but I’ll try my best.
“I aim to improve here in Bristol and then see what the next step is.”
