Sir Jim Ratcliffe ‘booed by Man Utd STAFF at screening of Europa League final’ with more savage cuts on horizon

SIR JIM RATCLIFFE received a chorus of boos from Manchester United staff members during a screening of the Europa League final, it’s been claimed.

The INEOS chief had one of the best seats in the house for the Red Devils’ lacklustre 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in Bilbao on Wednesday night, taking in the match with club legend Sir .

And The Athletic claims the billionaire was booed when he came up on the screen along with Avram Glazer.

The pair were said to have been booed once when they came up on the screen during the match and an additional time afterwards.

The reported booing of Ratcliffe comes as no surprise as he’s made a series of brutal and sweeping cuts at the club since his official acquisition of shares in February 2024.

“So I have nothing to show to the fans and say, ‘I’m going to improve because of this, I have these problems...’ I will not do nothing.

“In this moment, it is a little bit of faith. Let’s see.

“I’m always open, if the board and the fans feel that I am not the right guy, I will go the next day without any conversation about compensation.

“But I will not quit. I am really confident in my job.

“As you can see, I will not change nothing in how I do things.”;;
