MANCHESTER UNITED legend Louis Saha has urged his former club to sign a “very experienced” striker in January to create competition for Benjamin Sesko.
United is pursuing a £74 million agreement with RB Leipzig, and the striker has managed to score two goals and provide one assist in 12 appearances before sustaining a knee injury.

Saha believes Manchester United should consider re-signing Danny Welbeck from Brighton
They currently lack depth at the No. 9 position, as Matheus Cunha prefers playing behind the center-forward, and Joshua Zirkzee has yet to find his rhythm.
At 47, Saha suggested that the Red Devils should pursue a striker in the upcoming January transfer window.
The former France international thinks the Manchester giants should seriously contemplate re-signing Danny Welbeck for Ruben Amorim’s squad.
Welbeck, 35, is enjoying a resurgence at Brighton, where he has achieved seven goals and one assist in 14 appearances across all competitions this season.
Saha believes the former England international would be perfect for adding more depth, which he found essential for United’s success during his four-year tenure at the club, having joined from Fulham in 2004.
The ex-Tottenham star emphasized that Welbeck would aid Sesko's development by providing crucial competition in the starting lineup.
Saha stated to punditarena.com : “I would have loved United to sign Danny at the beginning of the season. He’s not only very talented but also efficient and experienced.
“When I joined the club, there was [Ruud] Van Nistelrooy and [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer, but we had more than that.
