However, the 23-year-old striker did not participate in training on Thursday and will be evaluated before the upcoming match against Bournemouth.

Defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire remain unavailable. De Ligt, who was initially expected to return for the Wolves match on Monday, is dealing with a back issue.

“Maguire is out, De Ligt is out,” United manager Ruben Amorim stated. “As for Ben, we need to assess his situation. We will see if he is fit to play.”

“He experienced some food poisoning, but we will wait for further evaluation. We still have two training sessions left. The other two players are definitely out.”

“I believe (De Ligt) has a minor back issue. Sometimes, it may not be serious.”

“He finished the game against Crystal Palace quite well (two weeks ago). It doesn’t appear to be a significant injury, but he is experiencing some discomfort.”

“We need to be cautious with that.”

Amorim praised Bournemouth's manager Andoni Iraola as a “special” coach and mentioned that the Cherries possess a “special” unnamed player, likely referring to winger Antoine Semenyo.

Bournemouth has won 3-0 in their last two visits to Old Trafford and remains unbeaten in four encounters against United, although they have not secured a win in their last six matches.

Amorim remarked: “They are a top team with an excellent manager and a standout player. I don’t focus on past results; I analyze how they approach each match.”

“They apply strong pressure and play very direct football. They utilize various attacking options.”

“This provides us with numerous strategies to prepare for the game. I anticipate a challenging Premier League match, but we must secure a victory, especially at home.”

“That is our objective.”
