COPS have arrested a teenager after a “series” of alleged sexual assaults at a Sainsbury’s.
Sussex said multiple women reported incidents taking place on the escalator leaving the superstore in Rustington, West Sussex.
The force confirmed that a 19-year-old man has been arrested for sexual assault by touching.
Cops urged anyone with information to come forward immediately.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Our enquiries, with the co-operation of security, have led to a 19-year-old man from Littlehampton being arrested for sexual assault by touching.
“Any witnesses and victims are encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting serial 1021 of 02/05.”
