The killer has now been found guilty of murder following the shooting at a home in Alabama on September 13, 2023.

Cops rushed to the property in Hatton that evening but Angela was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Lawrence County jury heard how the deadly dispute erupted while family members were searching for a lost cow.

Harville arrived at the home to find a man named West, whom he did not know, sitting on the front porch with a gun.

A heated argument broke out between the pair, with tensions quickly spiralling out of control.

Angela’s son told the court he tried to leave as the confrontation escalated, but his great-uncle threatened to shoot out the tyres of his car with a shotgun.

Harville then stormed inside the house, prompting Angela to call her husband, Scott, and warn him about the raging dispute.

Desperate to defuse the situation, she tried to separate the feuding men by sending them into different rooms.

But the confrontation took a deadly turn when Harville began arguing with Angela instead.

Scott heard his wife challenge the furious gunman, saying: “Go ahead and blow my brains out.”

Moments later, Harville fired a single shotgun blast into her head before callously declaring: “There you go.”

Shockingly, Harville was already out on bail at the time of the killing over a separate alleged shooting incident in December 2022.

He had been charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling or vehicle and two counts of reckless endangerment.

Alongside murder, the 61-year-old was also convicted of first-degree unlawful imprisonment, menacing and first-degree burglary in connection with Angela’s death.

But his defence lawyer, Paula Bassham, insisted he maintains his innocence and claimed there was no physical evidence tying him to the brutal killing.

She told People: “He says that he did not do this.

“He says he left and she was alive and well… There’s absolutely no physical evidence that linked him to this. No blood, no , no shotgun, nothing.”
