Experienced tactician, Abdu Maikaba is set to be appointed as new head coach of the Flying Eagles, DAILY POST reports.
Maikaba, who is one of the respected local coaches in Nigeria will replaced Aliyu Zubairu.
Zubairu now in charge of Egyptâs second division club, Telecom SC guided the Flying Eagles to the second round of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile last year.
Maikaba has previously worked as an assistant coach to Paul Aigbogun in the Flying Eagles.
He recently worked as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Wikki Tourists.
Maikaba has also managed Kano Pillars, Rangers, and Akwa United.
