FORMER MAFS bride Erica Roberts has revealed she was in the Love Island villa – a year before getting married.

The MAFS 2023 star was also in demand to appear on Love Island
told followers on TikTok: “I was actually meant to go on Love Island. I got flown out to Majorca. This was the year before.
“A lot of people don’t know this, but actually do a dry run, which is this little thing before Love Island starts.
“You get flown out to the Love Island villa. You stay there, and it’s like a mini version, just so they can see how things go.
“But essentially it’s actually an audition for Casa Amor.”
The reality TV star, who was during her time on the show, admitted: “Never, ever, ever, ever, ever have I wanted to go into Casa, even if it was offered to me, I would have been like, no, absolutely not.
“So the girl that cast me for Love Island then got back to me a couple of months later and was like, ‘Erica, please, please, please, can I put you forward for MAFS?’
“Initially, I was like, absolutely not. Nah, it’s not the show for me. I don’t think I want to do that. I’m good.
“They contacted me again not long after, maybe two months later, and I was in a bit of Heartbreak Hotel so when she came to me, I was like, yes, yes, let’s do it.
“But I’m gonna be honest, I really didn’t think anything of it at first. I was like, you know what? F*** it. Let’s just do it.
“I needed something because I was going under. See how the process goes. Let’s just roll with it.”
She added: “You have to go through so many rounds of speaking to the producers, speaking to casting people, speaking to psychs. I think you have to speak to three different psychs.
“So it really does baffle me when you get absolute nut jobs on the show because what’s the point in the psych?
“I filled out so many forms, you tell them exactly what your type is -literally how big their big toe is.”
continued: “Yeah, it’s such a long process but at the same time, feels like everything is literally going so, so, so, so fast.
“I feel like it was round after round after round. The next minute I’m in meeting the producers, and before I know it, I’m at the altar marrying a f***ing stranger.
“I was told at the start of January that I was going to be on the show, and that I was coming in late as an intruder, which I was a little bit fuming about.
“I didn’t want to go in late. With me, I can be quite shy and reserved when it comes to going into new groups of people I don’t know.
“I just I find it hard and if you’ve watched my season, I really did struggle when I first came in.
“So long story short, I was scouted, essentially, and it’s a long a** process.”
