During last night’s dinner party, it was claimed by before his MAFS stint.
She claimed that the groom had been bragging about his Raya usage while on a night out, with him even saying how he had slept with a girl just two weeks before saying “I Do” to Nelly.
Confronting him about the rumours of him hooking up with a Z-lister before the experiment, which was allegedly discussed during a night out for some of the brides and grooms, .
She explained how she had been told he was bragging about how he had “hooked up” with the “z-lister” and was talking about the sexual stuff he did before joining the experiment.
Blasting expletives at his wife, Steven fumed: “F**k me, who the f**k said that?”
“People have heard it,” Nelly said sternly.
She then added: “Do you know how it feels to have everyone tell you ‘this is how Steven’s been acting’?”
Steven snapped at his wife and said: “Two weeks before an experiment, Nelly.
“Do you know how f**king silly that is, to come into the experiment?”
Nelly replied: “Don’t get mad at me.”
Steven exploded again, and said: “F**king clownish, man.”
Following these explosive scenes, which saw Steven storm off, he has now issued an apology and explained the reasons for his actions.
In a statement posted on Instagram this morning, he wrote: “I feel it’s important to address last night’s episode of Married At First Sight and the circumstances surrounding the events shown.
“The way I was portrayed came across aggressive and I want to acknowledge that I am deeply embarrassed by my behaviour.
“The confrontation between me and other cast members was unacceptable, and it is not conduct I wish to be associated with.
“That particular period of filming was extremely difficult for me, and I believe the edit shown in last night’s episode does not reflect the full extent of what I was going through at the time.
“Two major factors contributed to this.
“1 – I had not seen my children for three weeks – the longest I had ever gone without any contact with them in nine years.

“2 – My stepdad, who has been a father figure to me since I was eight years old, was in hospital due to serious heart issues, which eventually required surgery,
“I only learned he had already been in hospital for a week, and at that stage in the process I desperately wanted to leave to see him and also return to my children.
“I shared this with Nelly and told her that if I left then, I would not be coming back.
“I apologised to her because it was not fair to expect her to give her all to the process when I was unable to do the same.”
Steven’s time on the show has been filled with high drama so far.
