Fans of MARRIED At First Sight UK have criticized what they called “the most awkward kiss ever” after a new couple exchanged vows.
In Tuesday evening's episode, the couple, who are late entrants to the ongoing experiment, made their debut.

After exchanging wedding rings and reciting their vows, the registrar joyfully announced: “Leisha and Reiss, it is my great pleasure to declare you husband and wife.”
The newlyweds leaned in for two kisses on the cheek before stepping back from each other.
Their guests watched on with bewildered expressions as they applauded the couple.
It seems that viewers at home were equally taken aback, taking to social media to share their reactions without holding back.
One viewer commented, “Most awkward kiss everrrrr,” while another concurred, stating, “This is the most awkward kiss ever.”
Another individual remarked, “Oh my goodness, that was an awkward kiss,” and a viewer who seemed unimpressed with Reiss added, “This guy is so full of himself. Disgusting.”
A fifth viewer noted, “'I consider myself a pretty boy’ from the supermarket pickup artist. I already feel sick.”
That wasn't the only uncomfortable moment on the show, as painter and decorator Reiss struggled to connect with Leisha during their wedding reception.
Leisha asked her new husband, “What have your exes been like?”
Reiss explained that his past relationships have all been “different,” emphasizing that he values a “connection.”
When Leisha inquired, “Do you get a lot of attention?” he replied, “No, not really.”
Speaking off-camera, Leisha expressed, “I’m thrilled with how things are progressing with Reiss. It’s in my nature to ask such questions, so I will continue to do so as I genuinely want to understand him deeply.”
Looking uncomfortable, Reiss was then questioned by a bridesmaid, who asked, “So how many exes have you had?”
Reiss mentioned that he’s not into dating apps and has been eager to find a relationship.
He stated, “Four exes; fortunately, I’ve never dated anyone who was crazy.”
When asked if jealousy had contributed to any of his breakups, he insisted that was not the case.
The questioning continued, with the bridesmaid asking if he wanted children, to which Reiss enthusiastically responded, “100% yes.”
This led Leisha to ask what he would name his child.
Reiss quickly answered, “Frankie,” which Leisha acknowledged as a good name.
In her confessional, Leisha shared, “Him saying he wants kids is a huge turn-on for me; I’m ovulating.”
In contrast, Reiss expressed to the camera, “It started off as an interrogation; there’s a lot to process.”
Before the experiment began, Reiss discussed his aspirations for the show and the type of bride he hoped to marry.
He described his ideal bride as “someone blonde, petite, with a touch of glamour.”
He has previously gained some notoriety due to his relationship with a reality star.
