LUKE LITTLER has revealed why he is “gutted” despite winning the Saudi Arabia Darts Masters.

since landing back-to-back World Championships earlier this month.

And victory certainly made up for the pain of crashing out early at the recent Bahrain Masters.

But despite celebrating another win, admitted he wasn’t entirely happy with proceedings.

Speaking afterwards, the world No1 said he was “gutted” that there wasn’t a single

And Littler admitted it was all he — and his rivals — could think about during the competition.

He said: “Obviously it’s on everyone’s minds.

“All the players know what’s up for grabs so if you get the first treble and then miss, you are gutted.

“But hopefully we can come back next year and someone can hit a nine-darter.”

Littler also revealed he plans to celebrate his latest victory with a break in Dubai alongside his family and girlfriend Faith Millar.

He added: “Obviously, I’m celebrating my birthday tomorrow.

“I’m going over to Dubai with my family and girlfriend to have three days off.”
