PHIL TAYLOR has called for Luke Littler to become more disciplined with his training regime – but the Nuke has already snubbed his advice.

Littler has been from sections of the crowd since the spat.

Taylor reckons the world No1 will get fans back onside if he can build on the stunning start to his career.

But the darts legend revealed Littler gave a brutal one-word reply when he was pushed to spend more time perfecting his game.

Taylor told the Double Tops podcast : “Practise a bit more. He literally does not practise.

“We did an exhibition together. I was there as a guest and Luke sat on his phone for about two-and-a-half hours at Chester Aces.

“He was playing , who was practising like mad. I said, ‘Are you going to practise then, Luke?’. He said, ‘No’.

“Then he goes up and beats him 8–1. I was like, how? That’s impossible. But he did.”

, 65, claimed the teen sensation needs to improve the mental side of his game if he wants to dominate darts in the long-term.

The Power added: “If the boos come, I’d keep off social media. That’s the first thing.

“With all the booing and everything, I don’t know how he’s going to take it or whether he’s mentally strong enough to keep it going, like has done.

“It seems to be getting at him a little bit. And he isn’t playing as well. Everybody wants to watch a good game, and everybody wants to watch someone brilliant.

“As soon as he starts doing that and getting back to his best, he will turn the crowd around.”
