LUKE LITTLER has encouraged King of the Jungle star Angry Ginge to come down to the Ally Pally after being spotted texting him just before his press conference.
The teenage sensation Littler was on his phone messaging Morgan Burtwistle (also known as Angry Ginge) when he prepared to face the media ahead of his World Darts Championship semi-final.

When the PDC media manager playfully told him to put his phone away until after the conference, Littler smiled and replied: “Hey, it’s the King of the Jungle. Come on. Show some respect.”
Littler was then asked if Angry Ginge, a huge fan, would be in the audience to cheer him on during the semi-finals and finals.
He responded: “I’ll have to check what he’s up to, see if he’s free. If he’s not busy, then we’ll have to get him down here. Is he planning to come?”
“He hasn’t been yet, so hopefully I can message him after this and see if he wants to come.”
Littler and Angry Ginge developed a strong friendship during the YouTuber’s victory on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Littler and his family voted for him to be crowned King of the Jungle.
While he admires his friend's bravery in Australia, Littler has already ruled out participating in the show anytime soon, admitting he would struggle with the gruesome eating challenges.
He stated: “I said I would do it for the right amount of money, but after watching it now, no, I just couldn’t. No way.”
“Especially with it being like… what is it? Twenty-three hours away in Australia, on a flight, away from home, eating that stuff. Nah. Not good. Not good.”
For now, the 18-year-old is focused on pursuing more trophies at Alexandra Palace as he aims to continue his remarkable ascent in the sport.
If Angry Ginge does respond to the invitation, he could have the best seat in the house to watch The Nuke attempt to secure his place in the final.
Littler, who has taken the darts world by storm since his breakthrough, still can’t fully grasp the whirlwind nature of his career but insists he remains grounded.
He remarked: “I need to concentrate on my game. It’s easy to get swept up in all the attention, but at the end of the day, it’s just me and the oche. If I keep hitting my targets, everything else will fall into place.”
“Family, friends, everyone who has supported me – they are the real MVPs. Angry Ginge is one of them. Seeing him in the crowd would be incredible.”
Littler is set to compete tonight against Ryan Searle, while the other match features Gary Anderson taking on his opponent.
The winners will then face each other in the final tomorrow night.
