LOVE Island fans have been left saddened as one villa lad looked ‘devastated’ after having his villa partner ‘stolen’.

A recoupling took place on the series last night which saw many of the from their previous pairings.

However, fans were left unhappy after spotting looking downcast after found herself in a brand new pair.

Although Whitney and Jack had been paired together at the start, their potential romance got off to a rocky start when Whitney admitted she would never date anyone with a child.

However, she soon appeared to back track and told Jack she would continue to get to know him.

The pair ultimately ended up having a kiss on the terrace as speculation about their connection whirred.

But when bombshell Konnor Ewudzi arrived, he found himself enjoying chats with Whitney and admitting it was something he would like to explore.

When it came to the recoupling, Konnor opted to choose Whitney meaning she was no longer in a pairing with Jack.

Konnor said to her: “The girl I want to pick has made me feel so welcome and I would like to see where things go.

“So, the girl I want to couple up with is Whitney.”

Whilst Whitney beamed and ran over to share a hug with Konnor, Jack looked on downcast.

It left many fans heartbroken as they admitted the moment left them realising that Jack’s feelings for Whitney could have been stronger than he let on.
