That project is inching closer to launch, but ahead of then, he is starring in a celebrity edition of – though he might not be on screen for too long.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun on behalf of PaddyPower , Luca said: “I’m back on TV on Saturday on The Weakest Link. I’d say the first ten minutes are probably the best bit, and then you can switch off after that.”
He continued: “I’ve also been working on a project for the past 10 months now that I’m ecstatic to share with my audience.
“I’ve been selective with it and have put everything into making it right. It’s still a couple of months away, but I can’t wait for it to come out.”
Luca isn’t your average Islander.
Social media posts are few and far between, but when he does post it’s inevitably from a glamorous event or far-flung location.
He was even on the guestlist at fighter pal ‘s lavish wedding in Vatican City last year.
“You do get imposter syndrome because all you’ve really done is go on a reality TV show,” he said.
“You see people who’ve won Olympic gold medals or built charities, and then there’s us who sat on a sun lounger for six weeks.
“But the biggest thing I’ve gained is the people I’ve met and the opportunities I’ve been lucky enough to have. My life has changed for the better, and I’m grateful.”
When he struck up his romance with blonde beauty Grace last year, many viewers didn’t think it would last.
The pair might not have won the show (they finished runners-up), but they have had an enduring love story and recently there have been rumours Luca’s preparing to pop the question.
“You can’t blame anyone for having an opinion,” he said. “When you come out of , you don’t even know yourself what’s going to happen or what people’s true intentions are.
“But look at us now. I’m happier than ever. The biggest thing to come out of All Stars for me was Grace without a doubt. I’m genuinely grateful for the experience because it led me to her.”
When it comes to the current cohort of All Stars, Luca is backing to go all the way.
She’s been the most in-demand girl of the current series and finds herself wanted by her American flame Zac Woodworth and show veteran .
Luca said: “I think Millie has a very strong chance. People love her, and she’s stayed out of a lot of the drama. She’s got that mum of the villa energy but she’s also a laugh. The connection she’s got with Zach feels genuine and natural.”
And though the show has come under fire for recycling contestants, but Luca believes there’s plenty of life left in it yet.
He said: “In terms of the format, I don’t think it’s running dry because the views are still there, but there’s room to mix things up. A Casa style twist or split villas would really expose people’s true intentions. There are always ways to freshen it up.”
