LOVE Island star Harry has revealed why he still hasn’t gone exclusive with Shakira after their controversial villa romance.

When the show ended, they were the only couple who  didn’t label themselves “exclusive”,  with Harry saying he “didn’t see the point”.

During the show, Harry was  met with a frosty reception by her mum  who refused to hug him and promptly slammed him in the Meet The Parents episode.

Their visit came after Shakira and Harry recoupled after the  infamous Grafties awards , as he revealed he was trying to get  back close to her despite being with Helena.

The duo  then finished in second place  in a tense villa final and have since arrived home.

But Harry revealed  he had “no plans to go exclusive” with Shakira   when the show wrapped.

However, in an interview with Radio Capital – Harris has now revealed the reason why.

He said: “So, Shakira and I are not exclusive. I think it is a villa term in my humble opinion.

“I don’t think in the outside world people are saying ‘we’re exclusive.’

“We’ve had conversations but essentially, we are dating, and we are loving spending time together.

“But I’m not going to turn around to her tonight and go ‘do you want to be exclusive?’

“In my eyes we are exclusive, and we have been from the moment we rekindled.

“There is no one I want to get to know and there is no one else I want to spend time with.

“So yeah, you could say we’re exclusive but there is no exclusive label on it. 

“I think the next thing for us will be boyfriend and girlfriend but we’re not obviously quite there yet.

“But things are going swimmingly.”

The couple have been kept busy since returning from the villa and have been in demand for interviews and magazine shoots.

However, after a series of posts on TikTok and Instagram where Shakira wasn’t mentioned, fans feared they had split.

But Harry cleared things up with a string of loved up snaps with Shakira taking centre stage.

In one photo, the couple are seen at dinner taking a selfie with their tongues touching as they poke them out for the pic.

Another saw Shakira sitting on Harry’s lap while on a date night as they pulled faces for the camera.
