While reciting her speech, she expressed: “I can’t actually remember the last time a guy has made me belly laugh and this boy definitely does that.
“I find myself naturally gravitating towards him, so I feel like that’s a big tell-tale sign. So the boy I would like to couple up with is Ciaran.”
However, after watching the moment in questions, viewers have been left confused as they haven’t seen the rugby star making Samie laugh at all.
Taking to , one person said: “Ciaran & Samie have had even less screen time, I was actually surprised during the recoupling when she said nobody has made her laugh the way he does.
“I was like “why haven’t we been shown this”.”
Taking aim at the producers, somebody commented: “It’s the same thing every year.
“The show is so over produced and rarely do they show romance. It has to align with whatever storyline they’re trying to push.”
Another person expressed: “I bloody love Ciaran so I’m gutted he’s getting no screen time.”
Someone else wrote: “I’ve seen them in the background loads chatting. I don’t think her picking him was a surprise to the islanders but they tried to make it a surprise to us.”
Yet another fumed: “I always see them so touchy in the background or in the scenes yet we see none of their chats.
“They’ll only get screentime at this point if they have any troubles.”
According to viewers, Samie and Ciaran aren’t the only pair not getting screentime, as they’ve claimed Scott Van-der-Sluis and aren’t being seen either.
A fan added: “Even with the episode from yesterday when Scott recoupled with her.
“He was going on about how “soppy” he’s become w her & how happy they are, all I could think is how they couldn’t show ANY of that but made SURE we saw the 10 second clip of Leanne having reservations.”
Agreeing, somebody added: “I feel ROBBED I tell you, robbed that we are not getting to see their budding romance.”
Samie and series 7 star AJ Bunker arrived as the newest bombshells during Sunday night’s episode.
Singletons Ciaran and Charlie Frederick received a text to tell them to head to the secret garden as the bombshells were waiting for them.
The foursome got acquainted as they turned it up a notch with a game of Truth or Dare.
Samie told Ciaran she found him “good looking” and said he looked like her ex-boyfriend.
She first appeared on for series 9 in 2023 and made it all the way to final with , ending their run in third place.
