LOVE Island: All Stars has had its first declaration of love of the series, but it didn’t quite go to plan.
Tonight’s episode saw Sean Stone ask Lucinda Strafford to be his girlfriend in an unexpected moment, with the seemingly getting carried away as he quickly confessed his love for her just moments later.
Love Island star Sean Stone shocked fans during tonight’s episode when he told partner Lucinda Strafford, ‘I love you’
However, fans noticed that she awkwardly didn’t say it back in the moment
During the moment on the terrace, the couple became boyfriend and girlfriend
Despite originally planning to take Lucinda to the terrace to ask her to be exclusive, the conversation quickly changed into Sean asking her to be his girlfriend.
A beaming Lucinda said yes, before the pair excitedly hugged and kissed before Sean confessed: “I genuinely, really like you. I just f*****g love you.
“I’ve actually come to love you.”
But in an awkward moment, Lucinda simply giggled back – not saying it back.
“I can’t. I’m actually going to wet myself,” replied a laughing Lucinda.
Fans were quick to notice that Lucinda didn’t actually respond to Sean’s declaration, with one writing on Instagram: “She didn’t say love you back!”
Another said: “Had to check on here that Sean actually said “love” because what do you mean love? You haven’t known her for that long.”
Others worried that Lucinda’s feelings may not be as deep as Sean’s are, with one writing to X: “Lucinda does not like him like that, not boyfriend level. She said yes because it would have her awkward to decline.
Another said: “I hope she really likes him because he’s head over heels”.
While their co-stars“, Lucinda and Sean are the first couple to be officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
The revelation came just hours afterin the bedroom.
After a under the covers, the other girls asked Lucinda what she and Sean had been up to – leading to her revealing their bedroom escapades by speaking in code.
As Lucinda said she and Sean were in a “love bubble”, her pal asked: “Did you seal the deal?”
“Yeah,” admitted Lucinda with a smile, before falling into fits of giggles.
The girls then said cheers with their coffees as Millie shouted: “No way!”
“Was it a big deal?” asked Whitney Adebayo, as the girls began to speak with code words.
“It was similar to the deal on my house… it was a big deal,” replied Lucinda, who said she would “do the deal again”.
