LORRAINE Kelly will be forced to miss this weekend’s BAFTA Television Awards after undergoing surgery, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The ITV host, 65, will be bowing out of the star-studded event in on Sunday so she can “properly recover”; from her health scare.

A source told The Sun: “Lorraine is world’s away from where she was this time last year when she was being honoured with a special BAFTA award.
“She’s been through a lot with her recent health scare and is quite rightly taking some time out to properly recover.
“Lorraine is already missed by the ITV team and will be desperate to get back to the day job.”;
Insiders say Lorraine hasn’t yet set a date to return to her ITV breakfast show, as it’s “too early”; in her recovery journey.

Lorraine explained: “Just wanted to let you know I’m having a wee procedure today. I’ve not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests, and I have to have my ovaries and my tubes taken out.
She added: “It’s purely preventative. It’s going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible, I’m being very well looked after, and I’ll obviously see you really soon, and I’m gonna be totally fine.”;
