, who also hosts ITV’s show, has been presenting her three-hour radio phone-in on BBC Radio Scotland since 2010.
However, reports surfaced earlier this week indicating that the presenter has been suspended due to allegations of bullying, including accusations of yelling at a junior staff member.
A representative for Kaye has since firmly refuted the claim that any complaints were filed against her.
Today, the star was seen putting on a brave face as she was spotted in her hometown.
She resides there with her partner Ian Campbell and their two daughters.
Kaye appeared lost in thought during her walk.
The star was bundled up in a winter coat to brave the chilly weather.
This comes as reports suggest that her position on the show will “remain unchanged” despite the issues surrounding her BBC program.
Sources informed the Daily Mail that her ITV colleagues and management were utterly ‘shocked’ by the unfolding events.
They also noted that Kaye is viewed as ‘one of the calmer members of the Loose Women cast.’
Complaints against Kaye were submitted under the BBC’s Call It Out initiative, according to MailOnline .
The initiative was established by the broadcasting network in the wake of a scandal involving former presenters that stirred controversy.
A senior member of the BBC stated: “There have been complaints regarding her conduct, leading to her suspension while an investigation is conducted. This is being discussed widely at Pacific Quay [BBC Scotland’s headquarters].
“After the Gregg Wallace incident, they are now taking complaints about talent more seriously.”
Kaye has been off the air since October 6 while the allegations are being investigated.
During her absence, Connie McLaughlin will take over her slot on the radio station.
Kaye has been a part of the Loose Women panel for 19 years, managing her morning show alongside it.
She also hosts a podcast titled How To Be 60, which is independently produced.
