LOOSE Women star Brenda Edwards shared a poignant tribute to her son Jamal – on what would have been his 35th birthday.

Entrepreneur and DJ Jamal passed away in February 2022 at the age of 31.

Taking to Instagram, she shared this snap of Jamal with a heartfelt caption

Taking to Instagram , his mum Brenda shared an emotional tribute marking Jamal’s birthday with her followers.

She shared a snap of Jamal accompanied by an emotional caption.

Brenda wrote: “On your first Birthday, I took you to Nottinghill Carnival.

“Today as Carnival falls on your actual 35th Birthday me and Nishee will be going to the Carnival to celebrate you!

“I miss you so much, your smile, your laugh your positivity, everything about you.

“You have been with me holding my hand and guiding my steps that I take in your name.

“So I’m gonna party hard in your honour as I celebrate you my beautiful baby.

“I love you Jamal now and always. Come on.”

Co-star Ruth Langsford commented: “Happy Birthday to your boy. Sending you love.”

A follower penned: “Thinking of you all today.”

Another shared: “The pain is real when the parent is grieving their child.”

A third chimed in: “Sending love to you and your family.”

TV personality Ashley Cain added: “Happy heavenly birthday Jamal.

“May you continue to inspire us from the heavens above and watch over your mother and family with love, guidance and protection.”

Jamal’s   cause of death was confirmed after an inquest at West London coroner’s court.

The evidence showed cocaine toxicity in his body, assistant coroner Ivor Collett said.

He added that the cause of death was cardiac arrhythmia, following cocaine use.

The coroner concluded the cause of death was drug-related.
