THE healthcare providers being sued by Lindsay Clancy’s ex-husband Patrick are trying to get his lawsuit thrown out — using a bombshell statement from his her own lawyer to bolster their case.

In an emergency motion filed November 2, attorneys representing Dr. Jennifer Tufts, nurse practitioner Rebecca Jollotta, Aspire Mental Health and South Shore Health System urged a Massachusetts judge to consider new information before ruling on their pending motion to dismiss.

The dramatic legal maneuver came just days after Lindsay’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, publicly denied that she had ever told her healthcare providers she was harboring thoughts of killing her three children.

In his October 28 statement, Reddington declared, “Lindsay Clancy never told any of her healthcare providers that she harbored homicidal ideation toward her children.”

He also disputed claims that Lindsay was prepared to testify in Patrick’s civil lawsuit, insisting she had never indicated she intended to take the stand. In a pointed rebuke, he added, “Mr. Clancy’s counsel does not speak for Lindsay Clancy.”

In court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun, the medical providers are seizing on those statements, arguing that Reddington’s words “directly contradicts key representations made by Plaintiff’s counsel” during an October 28 court hearing, in Patrick’s amended complaint and in legal papers opposing their motion to dismiss.
