Now has noted a whole new layer to the grief she’s feeling about her brother, after hearing the that the old school they attended together is being partially knocked down.

Taking to her story to pen some fond memories spent there with Liam, Ruth described how hard it was for her to fathom pieces of Liam’s life being removed from the world.

“Hearing part of our senior school is being knocked down and having such clear memories of Liam waiting by my locker to ask for off me all the time, feels like all of him is being removed from the planet.

“All the places we’ve been are changing and he’s not here to change with [them].”

She added a poignant but heartbreaking final note to the end of her thoughts: “A thousand tiny losses every day.”

Ruth shared the message alongside a snippet from a book called Pretty Painful Grief Letters.

The text post from the poetic novel detailed the difficulty people feel walking through the world post-funeral when losing someone they love.

“The hardest part isn’t the ,” the excerpt began.

“It’s not the anniversaries, or the birthdays, or even the that come and go without them. those days hurt – but at least you expect them to.

“The hardest part is the nothing moments. the ones that sneak up on you when you least expect it.

“Driving past their favourite coffee shop. seeing their handwriting tucked inside an old drawer. Hearing a song you didn’t realise would break you until you did. reaching for your phone before you remember.

“Grief isn’t just one loss. it’s a thousand tin losses, every single day. and somehow, you have to find a way to survive them all.”

Ruth is far from the only one feeling the depths of loss over Liam.

His girlfriend broke down in tears online last week, sharing that any future boyfriends of hers will have to accept that she’ll “always love” Liam.

Kate, 26, has been in the midst of online backlash where viewers have asked her to stop talking about her ex, saying she “needs to move on”.

The pair dated for over two years.

Though the influencer made it more than clear that she would never stop speaking Liam into the universe.

“I want to make something clear. Whoever I end up with in my future will have to accept the fact I will always love Liam.

“I will always talk about Liam I will always laugh about Liam, I will always cry about Liam.’

“Let me tell you something, was my boyfriend. He wasn’t just this famous figure to me.

“It hurts so bad because I am just criticised all the time for speaking about my boyfriend that passed away, the person that I loved and still do love.

“I would never settle for anyone in this lifetime who did not feel comfortable enough with me speaking about Liam.”
