Previously on “The Nice Guy,” Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young, both of whom harbored wistful memories of their first love, were unexpectedly reunited. After meeting again for the first time in years, the two people found comfort just from being in one another’s presence.

However, an unexpected obstacle to their blossoming romance appeared in the form of Kang Tae Hoon ( Park Hoon ), who fell for Kang Mi Young at first sight.

Newly released stills from this week’s episodes capture the drastic transformation Park Seok Chul undergoes to become Kang Mi Young’s personal problem-solver. Park Seok Chul arrives alone at Nirvana, the jazz club where Kang Mi Young has decided to audition, and while speaking to someone there, he appears uncharacteristically polite, clasping his hands together in a deferential manner as his eyes shine with earnestness.

However, in the next photo, Park Seok Chul appears to be a completely different person as he suddenly switches back into gangster mode. As he menacingly presses down on the man’s neck, he whispers something threatening to him, piquing curiosity as to why he needed to come all the way to Nirvana in the first place.

The next set of stills show both Park Seok Chul and Kang Tae Hoon looking smitten with Kang Mi Young while watching her audition. Park Seok Chul wears a fond expression as he watches Kang Mi Young sing happily on stage, while Kang Tae Hoon stares at her with rapt attention, as if unwilling to miss even a single moment of her performance.
