TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has sparked fan fury after revealing she refuses to have a bin in her home, claiming “no-one in Essex has one.”
, who shot to fame after first appearing on the show back in 2010, sat down for a chat with her co-stars Elma, Saffron, and Courtney.

But, she quickly caused a divide as she asked the girls if they had a bin in their homes.
Sophie, whose partner is , instantly replied “no I don’t,” and Essex residents Elma, Saffron and Courtney all said they did.
An outraged Lauren continued: “Thank you, in Essex we don’t have bins. No one has a bin.”
legend, Sophie said: “Is that why Jordan’s not got one?
“Cos I was like why have we not got a bin.”
added: “I’ve never had one.”
Courtney explained she has her bin built into her cupboards and Lauren then insisted she never would have bought one otherwise.
Saffron chimed in: “I don’t like the thought of a bin sitting with rubbish in.
“So I fill a bag for a day and it goes .”
A few of the girls agreed, saying they did that too. Elma later revealed she even had a bin in her bedroom and the group looked horrified.
The bizarre bin chat left fans fuming in the comments.
One viewer penned: “And how much plastic are you using! All because you don’t want an actual bin in your house.”
Another fan wrote: “What a weird thing to say that people in Essex don’t have bins of course they do.”
A third person said: “Don’t be ridiculous the bag is the bin.”
Meanwhile, a fourth fan added: “How bad is that for the environment to be using all those carrier bags everyday just for rubbish.”
