Former Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa manager, Tim Sherwood, has advised Marcus Rashford that achieving success at Barcelona may prove challenging for him.
He believes that the England forward appears ‘average’ at his new club, particularly due to the brilliance of Lamine Yamal.

“He pushes the ball forward and runs past defenders, but when he doesn’t, the crowd wonders, ‘Why can’t you give us the same brilliance as the genius [Yamal] on the other side?’
“I understand this is tough on him, but it’s a challenging environment for him to thrive in.
“Marcus Rashford has the potential to develop and improve while playing in this Barcelona team. He needs to elevate his game. Currently, he appears average because the player on the opposite side is exceptionally talented.”
Despite this, the England international has recorded the most assists for Barcelona this season. His contributions have also earned him a call-up to the England squad for upcoming matches against Wales and Latvia later this month.
