According to Omotoso, event officials immediately intervened upon noticing the incident.

The emergency medical team quickly evaluated the woman at the scene and provided initial treatment before transferring her to a public hospital for further assessment.

β€œShe sustained minor bruises and complained of chest discomfort, but she was stabilised on-site, and her vital signs were monitored,” Omotoso stated.

He added that she is currently receiving medical care and responding positively to treatment.

The Lagos State Ministry of Health, together with the Sports Commission, are closely monitoring the situation.

Senior government officials have visited the hospital to ensure proper attention and care.
