“Heavenly Ever After”; has shared a sneak peek of the upcoming episode!
JTBC’s “Heavenly Ever After”; is a transcendent romance drama starring Kim Hye Ja as Lee Hae Sook, a woman who reunites with her husband in heaven after death. Unlike the other residents of heaven—including her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku), who has chosen to return to the 30-something version of himself—Lee Hae Sook makes the unusual choice to keep her 80-year-old appearance.

Previously, Lee Hae Sook gathered six grapes and was sent to hell. At the judgement counter where sins and punishments are evaluated, Lee Hae Sook was categorized as “unclassified”; and met Lee Young Ae (Lee Jung Eun) once more. Meanwhile, Go Nak Joon personally headed to hell in order to save Lee Hae Sook.
The newly released stills depict Lee Hae Sook and Lee Young Ae each having their sins weighed. Since even a tiny difference can determine whether one goes to heaven or hell, both Lee Hae Sook and Lee Young Ae appear very tense. With Lee Hae Sook narrowly at the cutoff mark, Yeom Ra’s (Chun Ho Jin’s) prickly response and Lee Hae Sook’s resigned expression add to the heavy atmosphere. Meanwhile, the scale that Lee Young Ae is on hasn’t shifted in the slightest, making viewers wonder if the two will part ways again at the crossroads of heaven and hell.
Additional stills also depict Som Yi (Han Ji Min) following Go Nak Joon to the land of the living, raising intrigue about how the two landed there. Another still of Som Yi frozen in the middle of the road further makes viewers curious to find out if Som Yi will be able to regain her lost memories.
The production team shared, “Like heaven, hell is not the end but a process. Please stay tuned to see what fate awaits those who ended up in hell for different reasons. Som Yi will also start to put in effort to regain her memories, so please look forward to that.”;
