Kebbi: Women voters decisive in elections – Gov Idris

Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has described women as a decisive force in electoral victories, citing their steadfastness and numerical strength at the polls.

Idris made the remark on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi while addressing All Progressives Congress, APC, women leaders from the 225 wards of the state.

He urged women of voting age to participate in the ongoing voter registration and renew their voter cards ahead of future elections, assuring that his administration would continue to prioritise their welfare and empowerment.

“Women are trustworthy and persevering. This is your government, please maintain your support and loyalty,” the governor said.

APC State Chairman, Abubakar Kana Zuru, and State Women Leader, Hajiya Aisha Gunabi, pledged the continued support of women for the administration.
