Former North West Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and ex-commissioner in Kebbi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Manzo, has officially resigned from the party.
Manzo, who has previously held positions as Commissioner for Health, Commissioner for Agriculture, Amirul Hajj of Kebbi State, and was a former deputy governorship candidate under the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), announced his resignation in a letter dated September 16, 2025.
The letter, which was directed to the PDP ward chairman in Dikko Ward, Argungu Local Government Area, and also sent to the local government and state chairmen, indicated that his decision to leave the party was personal and followed careful consideration.
“I am writing to formally notify you of my resignation from the PDP, effective immediately. My decision is personal and has been made after thorough consideration. I genuinely appreciate the support, cooperation, and kindness I have received from the party, its leadership, and members during my time as a member,” the letter stated in part.
